Independent community pharmacy champion U.S. Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) hosted a special order on the House floor Monday evening to talk about PBMs and the role of community pharmacy. Collins was joined by two Congressional friends of pharmacy from Georgia, Rep. Austin Scott (R) and Rep. Buddy Carter (R). “The lack of transparency is unacceptable and has jeopardized the quality of care for millions of patients,” Collins said. NCPA continues to support these and other efforts by these friends of independent pharmacy in Congress. Watch the video here
