The City of Philadelphia Department of Health is offering a “Standing Order” for immunizations without the need of having a Business Agreement with a physician. It has been very difficult for many stores to set up an agreement with a local physician.
This will allow Philadelphia Stores to immunize walk-ins just like the Chains do now. However, it is necessary to abide by the Department of Health’s protocol.
A meeting has been planned for Tuesday October 24th at:
500 South Broad Street
1st Floor
9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Registration starts at 8:30 AM
3.5 hours of CE will be awarded to participants who sign in, attend the entire program, complete all necessary paperwork including three PPA online modules and the program evaluation and learning assessment.
Fee: FREE
This meeting will also discuss pharmacist responsibilities regarding reporting of immunizations to the Philadelphia Immunization Information System (KIDS Plus IIS).
