The Auditor General, Eugene DePasquale, held his second hearing on the questionable business practices of PBMs in Delaware County on September 12, 2018 The Auditor General in his press conference stated he “is committed to looking into the PBM practices, how they use or misuse taxpayer money in Medicaid and how their business practices affect not only pharmacists but the patients they serve.” Mel Brodsky, Executive Director of PARD, gave his testimony while accompanied by several member pharmacists. This was the first of four scheduled hearings in Pennsylvania. The next hearing is Monday, September 17, 2018 at 1:30 PM in Beaver County with another hearing scheduled the next day in Erie at 10 AM. The last of the scheduled hearings is in Harrisburg on September 24, 2018 at the Capitol at 11AM. We urge you to attend one of these meetings and show your support.
