Yesterday, Governor Wolf approved House Bill 118, which will now become Act 40 of 2017. This contains provisions that reduce the PACE professional dispensing fee to $10.49, set to take effect immediately.
Ultimately, this compromise is the result of debate over the budget and revenue shortfall versus extensive discussions, lobbying, and your efforts in contacting legislators. While the $10.49 dispensing fee is not what we wanted it is much better than the original proposal of $4 or the revised proposal of $7.
