As the world anxiously awaits a vaccine for COVID-19, Operation Warp Speed has identified several possible candidates, all of which are in phases of testing for safety, dosing and response. Now, volunteers are needed for the clinical trials. Pharmacies can help raise awareness with their patients of the opportunity and the need to register themselves. Not only would they be compensated and contribute to science – their participation speeds up the ability to start Phase 3 Trials with more vaccine candidates. This website provides educational information on vaccines, answers frequently asked questions regarding participation in a clinical study, and most importantly, allows volunteers to register in a volunteer screening registry through a secure portal. At the end of the registration, there is a space for a site code. Pharmacies’ site code is: RXRX (not case sensitive). Have your patients use it. It will help us track our collective contribution.
